PRINCIPAL OF GRAPHIC DESIGN

Principles of design refers to the methods and techniques of composition or processing elements of the art of line ,shape,form,braids,space and color to create a certain image . There are seven principles of design,namely:

Balance means similarity and equivalence in terms of weight ,attraction and focus.



Harmony exists in objects of nature and man-made objects . Harmony is a visual art designs which involve texture or repeat elements of art and principles of visual manner that is structured and lead to interesting effects . In the context of art , replication lines , appearance, shape , fabric and style and space in a particular direction or based on grid lines will produce a harmonious composition . Apply principles of design harmony can generate a perfect,orderly,uniform and comfortable eye.


Unity exist in an arrangement when all the elements in it have a similar theme or idea and extensive use of art elements, themes and good design can create a composite unity in the visual arts. Applying the principle of unity in the artwork will make it look more complete results , perfectly organized and where it poses a cohesive effect and impact strides in the work force.


Contra exists when there are elements of art that has the characteristics of conflicting or contradictory in a composite . Cons are also relevant to the focus because of its opposite cause . Counter the effects can be generated in the activities of producing works of visual art through the processing elements of different art , Contra are widely employed in visual art compositions for the application of this principle can give emphasis and focus . It can also prevent boredom and make the results of various art and to become more attractive .


Movement can be created in the visual arts through the processing of composite elements of art with specific techniques and methods .Apply the principles of the movement in a drawing activity can produce certain rhythm and atmosphere .It also makes the picture more interesting and raises the attractiveness and raises a more vivid visual effects,realistic and effective.
